顏色

鑽石具有天然色澤，鑽石色澤愈接近透明無色就愈珍貴罕有，與價值成正比。色澤以英文字母 D 至 Z 順序排列，從肉眼判斷時，D 至 J 都呈現無色至近乎無色。

淨度

鑽石於天然形成過程中包其他內含物，這些內含物會阻礙穿透鑽石的光線，影響鑽石的閃亮度。若鑽石的內含物愈少，鑽石淨度越高，可折射光線越多，閃亮度亦越高。

克拉

1克拉(ct) 等於100份，重0.20 克。

車工

鑽石的切割會直接影響光線在一顆鑽石中的折射表現，所以擁有精準切割的鑽石，能在毫無遺留之下，捕捉並釋放最多光芒。鑽石車工評級分為極好 (Excellent)、很好 (Very Good)、好 (Good)、一般 (Fair) 及差 (Poor)，當一顆鑽石擁有 3 個 Excellent 的評價，即代表其切工 (比例)、對稱及磨光均達到極致。

螢光反應

當曝露於紫外光 (UV) 下而所顯現出來的特定顏色光。螢光反應大概可以分五種不同強弱程度,包括無、弱、中度、強和非常強。螢光反應對鑽石的外觀並無顯著影響，它不會影響鑽石的結構整體性。

Colour
Diamonds are naturally coloured; the closer white diamonds are to being transparent, the more precious they are since their value is directly proportional to their colourlessness. Diamonds are classified on an internationally recognized scale from colourless (graded as D) to saturated (graded as Z) under the naked eye. Grades D to J are colourless or nearly colourless, among which Chow Sang Sang only chooses fine diamonds of grades D to K, and refuses to use diamonds of milky or brownish colours.
Carat
One caret equals to 100 pointers, weighing 0.20 gram. Chow Sang Sang offers diamonds in a wide range of sizes to suit your personal needs.
Clarity
Clarity measures the flawlessness of a diamond; the fewer internal inclusions, cracks, or other non-crystallized carbon materials, the lower the chance of light refractions being blocked, and thus the brighter the brilliance. Chow Sang Sang assesses the depths of inclusions with extreme precision, refusing to pick diamonds that have inclusions close to the surface of the crown. Chow Sang Sang Handpicks is also extraordinarily strict with clarity superiority – mostly only SI2 grade or above are selected.
Cut
Cut+ is the only one of the 4Cs that is influenced by a skilled craftsman. 99% of Chow Sang Sang Handpicks achieved the rating of “Very Good” or above.

This phenomenon can be divided into 5 levels of intensity: none, faint, medium, strong and very strong. Fluorescence has no significant effect on the appearance or structural integrity of a diamond.
